This is a blog about my experiences in WoW and how to make gold while doing lots of things there. - First of all, why you should do it
You may subscribe via RSS or via Email. To subscribe via RSS and get updated every time there is new content on your "Favourite Websites" list, you will need to have some sort of RSS reader, which is a page that allows you to receive the updates. There are quite a few you can choose: Google or Yahoo are popular, but there are loads of them. And you can even use Firefox Live Bookmarks if you want to (I'll explain those further down this guide).
- How do I subscribe?
Here's what you have to do, step by step:
1. Click the RSS button on the sidebar to the right.
2. By now, you should have this on your screen:
This is where you will choose which Reader you want to subscribe with.
As I said before, Google is the most popular, but it's absolutely fine if you prefer other one. On the picture you can see My Yahoo, Newsgator, My AOL (...), which are also pretty good, and you even have a lot more choices on the dropdown menu (the one with 'Choose your Reader' written on it).
By choosing your preferred reader on this page, you'd get linked to it, with Too Greedy now on your list. And you are done.
However, you may be wondering: Do I need to install any program to have a Reader? No, you haven't. For example, let's say if you wanted to use Google Reader. You just have to enter http://www.google.com/reader, and set up a Google Account if haven't already. That's why Google is popular. There's a lot of people with @gmail.com email accounts or similar, which eases the process.
Example:Let's say you want to use Google Reader. Just go to http://www.google.com/reader, and set up a Google account if you haven't got one already. Then click the "Subscribe to RSS!" button on Too Greedy. On the page you get linked to (picture above) click "Google". This should take you to your Google Reader page, and Too Greedy should be on your Subscription lists. You are now subscribed and will be able to receive updates every time there's a new post.
For those who don't want/can't understand Google Reader (or other readers), there's another option: Firefox Live Bookmarks. To use these, you need to use the browser Mozilla Firefox (you can download it at www.mozilla.com). You might have heard of it before in places like WoW related forums, because it's often claimed to be a very safe browser if you use appropriate addons for it. I highly recommend Firefox, and Live Bookmarks is one of the reasons (even though other browsers probably have a similar option too).
If you've got Firefox, you just have to go to the page shown above, and click "View Feed XML". This will bring up a window with the blog's name on it, and asking for a place to put the "Live Bookmark". I put these on the top bar, but you're free to put it elsewhere; it's really up to you. Then, just confirm this step, and you'll have your Bookmark working! It looks like this:
- This sounds a bit too complicated for me, is there an easier way of subscribing?
In here, everything is pretty much self explanatory. You just have to type your email address on the box, insert the security code shown, and click "Complete Subscription Request". After that, you'll be sent a confirmation email, which requires you to click a link provided in it. When you click it, your subscription is complete and you will get an email in your inbox every time there's new content on Too Greedy...and all the updates are free!
(Note: Some email inboxes may filter the email sent by Feedburner, so if you did all these steps correctly and you haven't received the confirmation email, check your Spam Folder and check if it's there. If it's not, just contact me and I'll add you manually as soon as possible.)
And that's it!

Too Greedy has grown again this week, both in subscribers and unique (non-subscribed) visits. Since 2G started (August 17th) the numbers of subscribers has been increasing slowly and this week it hit an all time high of 215, which means people are enjoying the content, and I couldn't be more happy about it. However, I believe many people haven't subscribed yet because they don't know how to do it. Soon, I will publish a "How to subscribe" guide, if you may call it that, and I will add it to the already existing "Why to become a subscriber?". Not everyone has a clue on how to do this kind of stuff, and those are the people the guide will be aimed at.

As you can see, there's a slow raise in the number of subscriptions (the numbers on the left), and that's basically what happened on the weeks before too.
I am not posting the actual Analytics numbers (the number of visits, page views, etc.) because they're not accurate. This is due to the break I took from blogging a few weeks ago, and I went from 200+ average daily visits to around 100. This is number has been rising as time goes by, and I will not post any of those values until I feel they're accurate enough again.
Too Greedy has reached a new milestone: 200 subscribers. I've been getting an average of 5 new viewers a day, which is a good rate, and I'm very happy about this. So, to 'celebrate' this new achievement, I decided to start 'Tweeting'.

Through Twitter, you can get the latest updates from the blog and myself very easily. It's definitely useful if you're looking for quick updates, rather than waiting for a reply to your comments. As I've said before, feedback is very important, and I'll do my best to stay in touch with my Followers from Twitter, just like what I've done to the blog commenters so far. Of course that I will try to Tweet often too!
So, start following me now! There's also a new tab in the top bar which links to my Twitter channel, and a new widget in the Side Bar which shows you my latest Tweets.
Also, to save up some space in the Side Bar, the Archive has now been merged with the Most Valuable Posts and they're both in the "Archive" page (link in the top bar).

As a blogger, the writer-reader interaction means a lot. After all, the readers are the ones who motivate the writer to actually keep writing, and sharing his ideas. Through comments, people can share their thoughts on a subject, they can let the writer know his ideas are "chewed" on...and at the end of the day, that's all that matters to make a blog something special. But you see, it's proven that 90% of the blog/news website readers are considered lurkers, which means that they do read the content, but do not interact with the writer in any way. The objective of this post is making you believe that being part of the subscribers list (and perhaps being an interactive being towards your favourite bloggers) is something good. Something you should do. Let me show you some of the reasons.
The biggest joy of a blog writer is knowing that (many) people read, and enjoy, his blog's content. If you subscribe to his/her blog, you're making him/her know you appreciate what he writes, and you have an interest in reading more. By subscribing you make sure you don't miss a thing, and that's the spirit us bloggers appreciate.
Being a subscriber does not only make you keep in touch with the writer, but it also motivates the writer to actually write better, and more often. If one sees his subscriber pool rising a lot, he will surely be more motivated to keep bringing fresh content very often. This is unlikely if no one communicates at all, and many blogs end because of this lack of feedback.

2G is back, and I'm resuming what I started in August. Slight changes occured, nothing too big. They're due to the fact that sometimes I can't deliver the daily posts I commited to post, so it's better to have only a few posts a week (other than every day), than not having time to post any at all

Since I've been lacking the availability to play and to write lately, posts on Too Greedy are being suspended for an undetermined period of time. This should be a few days, or maybe a week or two, depending on several stuff. Bear in mind that it's not a "farewell", it's a "see you soon". I might aswell come back with a refreshed mind on the topics I usually write about, so if you liked it so far, stay subscribed. It may not be a long wait. I understand many people enjoy the content I provide here, and 150+ subscribers (and growing each day) definitely shows it, but it's not really because I don't want to, it's because I cannot do it at moment; real life is slowing me down a lot.
Trust me, blogging is something I really enjoy, and the readers are the ones I care the most about, because you're the ones who keep this alive by giving feedback and sharing your stories too.

The mace from Razorscale didn't drop again! And I wasn't the 1st on healing, so it wasn't one of my best nights! Erm, just kidding, healing wise it was good, but still...damn you Razorfail!
Well, Shamans still on top, what can I say?
We got everything until Freya down, everything except Thorim was one-shotted, can't complain about anything. Everyone played their A-Game.
Now, to other stuff...I have been having less and less time to play lately (only played a few hours - if that much! - last week), and I can hardly attend raids now because of RL. Hopefully the work will lower soon, so I can resume my WoWing full throttle. However, it hasn't been just about more work. I'm also getting kind of bored from the current content. Hard Modes don't feel special. It's just the same bosses with harder features, which makes it boring for me. I find myself logging in to get gold from my mule's mailbox, then log Verde, play around a little bit, do the JC daily, and sometimes raid. When there's no raid, I just log in, run around and log out (I'm sure all of you have felt like this before). Maybe I need a break until 3.3, or maybe it's just a temporary feeling because I got my hands on other games which are being released now. I'm seriously thinking about suspending my WoW play time, and perhaps this means Too Greedy may slow down, or even be "suspended".

Too Greedy is an ever changing blog, and therefore, old posts may be lost among the other dozens of posts in the Archive. But some of the "old" posts aren't supposed to die. They contain a lot of useful information, and you (the readers) are the ones who can evaluate the quality of a post now. Don't let valuable posts die, they are worth reading still, even if they were posted over a month ago!
There is a new tab at the top (under the banner with the green guy) called "Most Valuable Posts", and that's where you will find these important posts. The list will be updated regularly, according to user feedback and my own opinion.
In order to let you choose which posts are considered the most valuable, a poll is now up, summarising the posts which I think that may have been of your interest, according to the page views, and the content itself. However, if you think a valuable post isn't listed there, you may e-mail me right away (check the Contact tab at the top).
Or you can just comment this post stating what was your favourite post on Too Greedy, and why? :)

And another week went by. There were a lot of changes because of my faction change, a new patch, a new guild, new raiding experiences...it's been "a hell of a ride". Thinking about these changes made me become even more confident for writing here, and a lot of content is now scheduled on Too Greedy.

Today, I'm introducing a new way of being part of Too Greedy: Youtube. My account is called TooGreedy (http://www.youtube.com/user/TooGreedy) and I will be posting a video from times to times, if I find it nice to enhance my posts.
From now on, I may be "illustrating" my posts with videos, and that's when Youtube comes in. It's always nice to make people actually know what I'm talking about by literally showing it to them.
Now, into other business.
Bear with me with all the changes I make. Seriously. I admit I'm an always changing mind, and I'm always needing new stuff to look at. I hope all these changes aren't going "too fast" for you, if so, please do tell me. I try to keep this place as soft as possible, because as I said before, this isn't just about me.

I am considering a faction change (haven't made a final decision yet, but maybe Verde is becoming an orc!), and maybe I can take advantage of the differences. I will make a few posts regarding this. I will compare the prices on both sides, and bring the right items with me in the transfer.

I was pleasantly surprised earlier this week, when Too Greedy's daily visits doubled, and the number of subscribers rose a lot (it's now over 100). I'm glad more people are enjoying the blog. Even though I'm not having a lot of feedback, the few people who messaged me had good things to say. Keep spreading the word!
This week was also filled with upgrades to Too Greedy, which included a new graphic layout, and other few changes in the organisation of stuff. What do you think of them, has it changed for better or for worse? Got any suggestion?

- Totally new template, with simple colours (a white/blue mix) to ease reading.
- New logo, with higher graphic quality (and you can see Verde's shiny eyes now).
- Added a bar at the top, under the logo, with links to relevant information regarding the blog
- Sidebar is roughly the same. The major difference is the "Subscribe" button, which is now harder to find :)
